Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota, journalist, author, anchor of CNN's morning show "New Day" and Westport, CT resident, is elected to the board of trustees for Westport Country Playhouse. In her three decades in journalistic work, Camerota has covered stories worldwide and nationally, earning the Emmy Award for her breaking news coverage of the arrest Roger Stone. Roger Stone, and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for her news breaking coverage of the effects of Hurricane Maria upon Puerto Rico. Johnna G. Torsone, from Stamford has been named an the honorary trustee after her tenure as a trustee on the Board since 2007. Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport was elected chair of the board following her tenure on the board from 2013. Czekaj Farber takes over from Barbara Streicker from Westport who was chair of the board for the past year and was in this position ever since.
