Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actress for film television and stage since the late 1970s. She's been a professional actor for the past 27 years. Her first performance on stage was in 1990 with an off-Broadway adaptation of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. She was then cast for her first role on television, The Perfect Tribute. Lexis grew up in a household of golfers, so she had no experience in this male-dominated sport. In 2007, she was the youngest golfer who qualified to compete in the US Women's Open. The reason she didn't win but in 2007, Aldila Junior Classic, which was her second-youngest player to win this competition. As well as becoming the most youthful American Junior Golf Association, (AJGA) winner of the championship at the time and also being the youngest player to be awarded the Westfield Junior PGA Championship.
