Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first minute. She then returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen and beat her in a the unanimous decision, which put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd returned from her defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, increasing her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015. Aspen joined Invicta FC and made her debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and beat her to secure a first-round TKO. Aspen won her subsequent fight in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen was dominant McGill in her wrestling, and ended her fight in the third round by TKO. In the following fight, she took on Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18. She weighed catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and got her out at the end of round two via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 with Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a ground-and-pound strategy to take the win via TKO in the second-round. In her second fight, she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd finished Evinger within the first minute and earned the night's prize. She fought her first big fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. They fought in a close fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. The two fighters each received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak within less than 16 seconds. Then she bounced back to win Yana Kunitskaya after the third round of UFC which was broadcast on ESPN 7. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
